What peace means to me
For me, I feel peaceful when those I love are happy, content and safe. When I can be in a place where there is no conflict, and any difficulties are alleviated by mutual respect and compassion.
Why I joined the Board of Directors of the PCoC
“As a mother, my daughters’ futures are my most important concern. I knew I had to do more than just wish for peace, I had to do something to help create a more peaceful community. Being a part of the Peace Center has afforded me the platform to do just that, and what is even more gratifying is connecting with likeminded people who have those same desires.”
